“Because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I spoke against this place and against its inhabitants, that they would become a desolation and a curse, and you tore your clothes and wept before Me, I also have heard you,” says the Lord.” — 2 Kings 22:19
I open the paper and read that there has been another apparent beheading of a hostage by ISIS. I’m saddened by the blatant disregard for life and I am angered at the cowardice of those performing such heinous crimes. Only those who consciously know how evil they are would cover themselves from head-to-toe, hiding their identities from the world, as they commit such acts of random terror. If you believe so much in your cause, why do you attempt to hide from God by covering yourself like Adam & Eve did after they ate the forbidden fruit? Because down deep you know. You know that He sees you.
I weep for the souls of the innocent victims.
I weep for the hearts of their family and friends.
I pray for the damned — that the last face they see is the face of God as they take their final breath.
Render your heart tender, my friend
